ach! i'm not done with this page, barely started, in fact. but here're two things i've made. above is a formal gown for barbie, made from trimmings of my sister's own formal two piece. yes, this is also a two piece. it was fun n challenging. barbie is infinitely grateful. i'll add more pictures and angles n stuff.
below is a sweatsuit i made for ballerina barbie, which she is wearing for doing yoga right now. i shortened a pair of my microfleece pants for my grandmother to wear during the winter, and so i used the left overs to make: 1) a pair of leg warmers for me, and 2) this sweatsuit for barbie. it was kinda hard, i was gonna make it with a hood n all, but she's havin fun without one. the sweater opens up on the shoulders, the way a baby's little onesie opens up sometimes, and the pants kinda just have to stretch. :p more to come. |
