The Lenox Fire Antique Apparatus Association
Antique Apparatus
The goal of the Lenox Fire Apparatus Association is the preservation and maintenance of the 1924 American LaFrance Pumper Truck that was taken out of service in 1957 and has since fallen into serious disrepair.  Our goal is to raise $125,000 which would cover the restoration and preservation costs, as well as to create an endowment for future repairs and maintenance of the entire collection.

We are in the processes of developing a curriculum which will teach children about the history of fire fighting as well as lessons in fire safety.

In order to acheive our goal, we have partnered with the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation. The BTCF was established in 1987 with a mission of improving the quality of life in the Berkshire - Taconic region through permanently endowed philanthropy funds.
