Here are a few photos of our trip to China in 2003.
We celebrated our first anniversary in Guilin.
My dad used to live in Shanghai in 1950, pictured here in 1986 with former neighbor.
Guilin (say Gway-leen) is a pretty place in the southern mountains of China.
I lived in Canton, China for seven years beginning in 1989.
Then I lived in Guiyang (say Gway-yahng) for 5 months in 2002 where I taught English, at one of the two churches in that area, on the fourth floor of the one to the right.
Contrary to popular belief, one can actually buy Bibles in China; this one is at a sidewalk shop in front of the other church in the picture just before.
While visiting Guiyang we taught Bible to my old English Bible class.
More recently in Dallas, Texas, we visited with former housemates bus 19 that was blown up in Jerusalem earlier this year.
