We forget the
simple things that were not.
We forget about
our friends when there doing not so hot.
We forget the days
gone by that we spent picnicking, playing, and swimming by the lake.
We forget it all
because of our own needs and wants and desire and also because of our desire
for possessions that we want to have but don't need to take.
We forget the
meaning of family and treat each other like we are just pairs of an old
worthless shoe.
We forget what our
grandparents taught us!
How they would
want us to stick together as tight as a bond of glue.
We forget most of
all what they would want us to do!
But remember this
my dear cousin I didn't ever forget you.
