I am not known to agree with Jared often, but this time he is right. The
court ruling is an open violation of the freedom of expression.
If it occured in Belgrade, it would make it to the frontpages of the
Western press under headlines like 'A new attack on the freedom of the press',
but since it happened in London, it goes under 'libel'.
I think socialists disagree with the general line of LM on a lot of issues
but in the case of the assault on Yugoslavia they showed, how it is
possible to defend Yugoslavia, without demonizing or deifying any of the peoples
in the Balkans.
