Sera Jey Monastery Needs Your Help

Due to increased religious repression and anti-religion and anti-monk policies being implemented by Chinese authorities in Tibet, hundreds of� monks and nuns escape into India every year and get into the Monasteries re-established in India. Over the last five years, Sera Jey Monastery alone had accommodated over a thousand monks who had escaped from Tibet. Every year hundreds of new escapees continue to find their way into India and join this Monastery. This has remained the biggest challenge being faced by the Monastic administration - to feed and accommodate the monks escaping into India and seeking admission to the Monastery. Hence the accommodation continues to be the most serious problem in the Monastic community.

We would like to solicit your kind donations to help the monastery to build more accommodation facility and buy adequate food for the new monks. Your generous donations will contribute in helping the monks fulfill their ambitions in helping fellow human beings.
