SI Units

ALL formulae in GCE O Level Physics MUST be used with SI Units. (except kwh)

Example 1 :      Work done = Force x distance

Correct  : 30 J = 6.0 N x 5.0 m

Wrong ! : 30 J = 6.0 N x 5.0 cm

Example 2 : Weight = mass x gravitational acceleration

                        Correct :  80 N = 8.0 kg x 10 m/s2

                        Wrong ! : 80 N = 8.0 g x 10 m/s2
