Sleepaway Camp 3: Teenage Wasteland
(1988)
Directed By:  Michael A. Simpson

Writing Credits:
Fritz Gordon
Pamela Springsteen gives a slashing performance as Angela, a murderous camper who returns to Camp Happy Woods where she previously had killed most of the campers.  The camp reopens under an inept new management team played by Michael J. Pollard and Sandra Dorsey.  This is the ideal setting for Angela, who is dedicated to doing her job of eliminating "immoral" teenagers.  Armed with an arsenal of knives, guns, ropes, axes and even a lawnmower, Angela puts away everybody except for Marcia (Tracy Griffith) and her boyfriend.  In a no holds barred cat fight,  Marcia repeatedly stabs Angela and sends her off in an ambulance, thinking she'll never have to see her again...or will she?
Plot:
(above) - the infamous killing of one of the camp counselors by running over her face with a lawnmower

Brians Review:
Where do I start?  This movie is great.  If you're looking for gore and senseless killings, then this film is for you.  You see deaths ranging from someone getting beaten with stakes and hammers to someone getting run over by a lawnmower.  Its simply great.  The plot itself isn't too bad....the acting could use a little improvement, but in general its the better one of the series.  Overall, I give it 4 blood buckets!!!
Good movie, definetly a good addition to the sleepaway camp series, which goes on and on and on.  great killings, great lines, bad acting, and bad motives for killings but good senseless killings and attractive stimulating plot.  However its not very original, and this is my only complaint, i mean come on the lawnmower scene has been done again and again, and any way its basicaly friday the 13th with a disgruntaled teenager (though the actual age of the actress may vary)  I give this movie a solid 3 blood buckets only because the first one was so much better.
