Beginnings

Will you join us?

Hiya. I wanted to inform you of the beginning of an informal chat ring. I've been talking to Carrie for a while now because she has started her own webpage that is fundamentally similar to mine. Some things we agree on, some we disagree, but both of us, in my opinion, have formidable arguments. The two pages will be linked so you can see more than just my view on certain things. However, they will still be kept independently. If you would like your opinions shared, then begin a webpage, and we will add you to our chat ring. (Note: webpages discussing only daily activities are not suited for this chat ring.) If you do not feel up to such an endeavor, feel free to e-mail me, and I will bring up your opinions on mine (if it is well-thought out and/or a good point). In any case, I always give credit to the people who brought up such ideas or helped me with issues. I hope that this will achieve its purpose: to perhaps answer something unanswered or to make someone think of something they never thought of before.

My e-mail address: [email protected]

Reflections

*My new but already good friend, Jay, has decided to join the chat ring as well. Many of you know him or have heard of him, but now is a great time to get to know him even better. I've only known him for a couple of days, but I can already tell that he is a very strong person and one who knows what he's talking about. So check out his page. It's worth it.

Also, since this entry is titled "Beginnings", let me reaffirm my promise to not use bad language. Lately, I've kind of slacked off this promise, and I'm thinking that by telling you, it'll help me keep it. Why, you ask? Would you believe everything that I write on this webpage if you and I went out together, and I just cussed everyone and everything out? Plus, it's something that I want to do so please help me keep this. :0)

James 3:8-12 "But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh."

Psalm 19:14 "Let the words of my mouth and the mediation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer"

"Behaviour that's admired is the path to power among people everywhere" -Beowulf, lines 24-25

"The truth is clear: Almighty God rules over mankind and always has" -Beowulf, lines 700-703

Cliff: I'm sorry I said what I did that last night. I shouldn't have and I honestly regret it.
