It's not totally updated, but.........ask if there's anything in particular you're looking for. http://www.geocities.com/tomstradelist Tom Cool site by the way!! ----- Original Message ----- From: L Elvis Cool J To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, January 24, 2004 12:54 PM Subject: Re: EC trade? Tom, I enjoyed checking out your list. Lots of stuff I don't have. I was actually telling myself "small trades only, small trades only" (like a mantra). Then came your list... Can you find 10 or 11 on my list? I'm flexible, so whatever you do find, I can easily match from you. Let me know what you think. And when I hear back, I'll email you my choices from your list. Peace, Greg ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, January 24, 2004 2:04 PM Subject: Re: EC trade? Greg, This looks like 13 discs so far. I haven't fully completed my list, so it's hard for me to tell which discs I may have or not have on your list without doing some Elvis "housekeeping." I will try to get it under control this weekend and add from here, but I would say let's begin here for Phase 1. If there's anything you are looking for, feel free to ask! Let's trade 13 right now. And do another trade sometime afterward. Time-wise, 13 is most I can do right now anyway. On a few of my choices, I had to take a guess at the number of discs. I've put an asterisk by those ones. Let me know if I got it right. We can adjust if I got it wrong. Regarding "Driving Through The USA," I wanna make sure yours is the one-disc version, as I do already have a two-disc version from that night. Here they are: 02/10/1978 Paramount Theater, Seattle, WA EC & The Attractions I've Just Come From California A 1CDR *02/02/1981 Palladium, New York, NY EC & The Attractions Drivin' Through The USA [1CDR?] 12/27/1982 Royal Albert Hall, London, ENG EC & The Attractions Let Me Show You My Baby Pictures 2CDR 06/25/1994 Glastonbury, ENG EC & The Attractions Live at Glastonbury 1CDR 10/10/1998 City Hall Plaza, Boston, MA EC & Steve Nieve WBMX Mix Fest 1CDR *04/16/2002 Astoria, London, ENG EC & Imposters The Live Hour - XFM Broadcast [1 or 2 CDRs?] 07/06/2003 Taste Of Chicago, Main Stage, Chicago, Il EC & Imposters B 1CDR 09/13/2003 Radio 1 Belgium, VRT Studios EC & Steve Nieve A- 1CDR *10/19/2003 Auditorium Il Parco Della Musica, Rome, Italy EC & Steve Nieve [2CDR?] *10/20/2003 Teatro Manzoni, Milan, Italy EC & Steve [2CDR?] BTW, I should also double check that 04/16/2002 Astoria, London, ENG EC & Imposters The Live Hour - XFM Broadcast is something different from "Episodes Of Elvis," an audience recording of the same night. FYI, I extract with EAC and burn 4x to 'Made in Japan' Fuji's. Let me know if we have a deal, so I can get to work :) My address is below, send yours. I was out of town for training on a new job. As far as the shows you asked about: The Astoria '02 show is 1 CDR and I believe the only difference between your version and mine is the source. The '03 Italy shows are 2 CDRs. The Driving Through The USA show is 1 CDR I believe, but I'll let you know if that's different when I go to burn it. I hope you still want to trade for these, but if you have different requests, feel free to fire away. Thanks. Hope the new job is starting off well. Thanks for the info about the discs. I'd like to get all the ones I mentioned. So let's stick with the trade as previously discussed. If you want to change anything on your end, let me know. I'm gonna get to work on these, and as I have a good amount of time this weekend to devote to this, I'll get yours in the mail Monday. I like to send a courtesy email on the day I send the discs (also on the day I receive the ones sent). Hopefully you can do the same. Communication is groovy :) Let me know anything else, and thanks for trading. I'm really looking forward to this. Anyway, I received the discs today and they're great! I wasn't sure where we stood with the trade so I'm only partially done the discs. I will work on completing them over the next day or two and email you when they are sent. Just wanted to update you. Tom ----- Original Message ----- From: L Elvis Cool J To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, February 20, 2004 9:30 PM Subject: Re: Tom/Greg trade Jan '04 Hi Tom, I want to share some information with you. I've received feedback from some people who say they've traded with you in the past. While a couple report they had good experiences dealing with you in 2002, I was alarmed to hear from two people I consider to be traders of the highest integrity who say that you still owe them large numbers of discs (25-30) from trades they say you failed to honor. So what's the deal? Are you gonna stiff me? Or would you like to use this opportunity to improve your reputation as a trader? I feel I've been very patient, especially considering I have good people telling me that you're a bad trader. Honestly, if I had this information before, I would have never traded with you. But the fact is, we are in the middle of a deal now, and I expect you to fulfill your end of the deal. I see two possible actions that you can take to do this: 1) Send me the 13 discs I've requested from our trade 2) Return the discs I sent you I strongly urge you to act upon one of the above options. Keeping the discs and doing nothing will NOT be a wise decision on your part, I promise you that. My best advice to you is to resolve this to my satisfaction, and quickly. Greg ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, February 29, 2004 1:49 PM Subject: (no subject) Greg, The discs I had sent out last week were returned for insufficient postage. The USPS apparently doesn't know how to weigh packages? Anyway, I must go to the post office again and resend them. I apologize for the delay. Also, once you get these discs I want to send you 4-6 discs additional of shows you may want to make up for this situation. Thanks. Tom P.S. I anticipate having the Boston show from Friday by the end of this week at the latest. |
