Lady, my Lady, Miss Liberty
Why did you turn your back on me,
This is how it feels to me,
We served, we heard your duty call,
We fought, for the freedom of us all
You gave us nothing, but a wall,
A stone of hope for us all,
I try and try to understand,
What has happened in this land
That you would forget about your men,
That you could forget your missing men.
Lady, my Lady, Miss Liberty
Do you see what's happening to me,
Do you feel what's happening to me,
For you, we sacrificed our youth,
For we, believed in your truth,
For you, we carried the torch,
For you, in the sweltering scorch,
Lady, my Lady, Miss Liberty
Do you see what's happening to me,
Do you feel what's happening to me,
Waves of Love, we have for you,
Waves of Love, red, white and blue
Red, our life blood was shed,
White, in honour of our dead,
Waves of Love, true blue
Waves of Love, how about you?
Waves of Love, to family and friends,
Waves of Love, for our missing men,
You gave us nothing, but a wall,
A stone of hope for us all
For our devotion through it all,
Let the teardrops fall
As the memories we recall
A time of healing for us all
We are devoted to you,
Devoted red, white and blue
Old Soldiers & Other Survivors
Beat the drum slowly,
a knight has fallen, another man awaits his fate, give him a glorious sunrise in freedom.
The pioneer women travelled long hard roads, faced many dangers, and labored long without the benefits that we reap today,
Our great grandmothers, our grandmothers and our mothers
did without, worked  in the factories for the men who fought the Great Wars.  Can't you who ride in air-conditioned cars, have a cell-phone and your own income take a moment from your day to make a phone call, fax a letter, email a letter for the ones
that have been left behind.  Do it for liberty,  liberty that we have received  without paying the cost.
Lend your helping hand, prove the pen mightier than the sword.
Do it for your future sons and grandsons.  Honour the veterans who have given so much  so that our children have reaped the harvest.  The Berlin wall is knocked down, the Vietnam wall is built up.  Help to bring them
safely home.
You may send this link via  internet to every politician & newspaper,  Rock the Cradle of Civilization via the WWW.  "They said", "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world"
Mom, it's time to rock, let's bring all of our sons home  It has taken too long.
Let's give our P.O.W. LIBERTY We have been M.I.A. to long.
Our grandmothers chained themselves to give us the vote.
We've come a long way, they went a long way for us. Make our votes count. Send a chain of letters to the Veterans Administration,  your Senators, your Governors, your Congressman, your President, your Republican and Democratic Party members, your Mayors, your County trustees, your township trustees, Spread the word, be heard . Make every vote count, Tell them, it's past time, bring our American  Sons home. No more excuses!
Strike a blow for women's liberation,  twenty-five years have passed.  Our kinsman have not been Liberated. Visit the Wall,  Adopt a POW/MIA become a true woman liberator.  They did it for you.
