| Erase the Fear Written by: Lela Waggoner April 17, 2001 Have you ever treaded lightly on a broken eggshell? It's like you're stepping carefully through Hell. The Devil work's diligently to make you sin But the ex's work harder to do you in. You try your best to keep the peace All the while you wish the feelings would cease. All the fears, the crying, the worrying and screaming You forget about the day it was all about dreaming. About your lives beginning, together as one Now it just feels as though it's coming undone. More than one ex, more than one child Reminds him of the day when he was young and wild. But this isn't about women that make you nervous and scared It's about his beautiful daughters and how much he's cared. To see them face to face is important and pure And seeing them yourself, lightens your heart for sure. See it's not about trust, or you , or me It's about him and his daughters as happy as can be. So, let go of the fear, mistrust and the fret Because the day you meet them you'll never forget. He loved you enough to make you his wife But ex's or no, those kids are his life. Yours, mine and ours should never rise above How special you make them feel with all of your love. To share that with him is truly special and unique But be careful and mindful, you don't want to blink. But not for the ex's doing something you fear You might miss a smile from a child so dear. Those children will love you as much as they love he But don't act insanely jealous toward them or to thee. He loves you dearly with every fiber of his being But those ex's with daughters he can never stop seeing. The moral of this story is simple and clear Don't worry about the ex's, and forget about the fear. Share his children with him for the rest of your life And never, for a moment, regret becoming his wife. I love you Mark. |
