i knew i couldn't give up on love just yet
after i've been hurt and torn apart
just your simple smile had mended my heart
then from the look in your eyes
and the touch of your lips
i knew i had to give love one last try
but the weakness of my heart
and my past of deceit
i wonder if the past could ever repeat
