in the park where i did dwell
i met a boy i loved so well
there he took my heart from me
how he wants to set me free
one day he placed a girl upon his knees
and told her things he never told me
and now i know the reason why
the girl was much prettier than i
i went home to cry on my bed
not a single word to my mother i said
my father came home late at night
he search for me left and right
and on my door he surely broke
when he saw me hanging on a rope
he took his knife and cut me down
and on my desk this note was found:
dig my grave and dig it deep
with marble stones from head to feet
and on my head please put a dove
to show the world i die for love
