Stirred Not Shaken I feel the hunger stir and pray the work of the day will carry enough weight to get through the hours in wait At bay I am at no one's mercy no forgiveness in midnight no suffrage to toast in a new year a new attitude that can convey all that is masked Events turn in ulceric fashion what is only metaphor exchange for blood we tote the hemorrhage convert flesh to memory and memory to rote denial a curious awestruck underbelly washes to the shore where angels begin solemn fated vigil Just as a prophet spoke no one heard the words too late we trudge the sand under Leisa*) 05.08.02�

MicroMadnessPoetry They spill all at once in mad moments when sleep is needed; deprived wasted on time Sip slow this tepid tea to keep company this lone mistress of the tiny castle by the sea There is yet another ripening of souls waiting to be reaped waiting to be freed Mental yoga cross at the knee bring up the band one more time muted tones at this hour lull to slumber all the weight of the day waiting to fall into visages [let them wait and not wilt] Time fractures splintered and spun into slow motion a fast dance tap tap tapping under ice clawing a way through the storm at sea Turbulent tides take time to trigger Leisa*) 05.08.02�
