We've been here for about a month now and are getting settled. I'll have photos up once we get a scanner. We are learning Dutch - watching tv/movies with Dutch subtitles is helping a lot.
Highlights so far:
- Pizza-size pancakes
- Foodism - small cafe
- Falafel and Veggie Burgers from our local nightshop (Sphinx)
- Riding Trams - our stop is COEhoornstraat!
- Concerto - big record store that we just found
- Our apt/garden
- Artis zoo
Things we miss (besides people):
- Target
- Morningstar Farms Frozen Food
There are lots of bands coming this summer that we are going to see including Kraftwerk and we have plans to do lots of smaller trips.
