| Outlaw Star is a cowboy/space anime. It was created by Hongou Mitsuru. The series is about a bounty hunter carrothead guy named, "Jean," and his mechanics whiz kid named, �Jim,� who run their own business as bodyguards and assassins. One day they get a call from a pretty blonde, who needs protection and has tons of money, she turns out to be the notorious outlaw, Hilda. She has an �item� that some space pirates want and it turns out to be a mysterious android named, �Melphina.� Melphina has no idea about her past, why she was made and who made her. This remains a mystery until Jean finds out about the galactic layline and Melphina�s purpose to open it. Jean and Melphina fall in love and Jean can�t tell her she�s just a pon in a game. So he must travel to the galactic layline and find the treasure to pay his debts exc. from Fred and help Melphina find her purpose. |
