Take a simplistic and memorable story, throw in some humor, and add some characters with unique personalites and you've got the perfect definition of Love Hina. Love Hina starts out with a young college ronin named Keitarou Urashima. As a mere child Keitarou had made a promise with another girl to go to Tokyo University as adults. Coincidentally, Tokyo University is the top ranked and most honored university of Japan. Keitarou, however, fails to enter the university for the sake of fulfilling this promise. Due to his failures, Keitarou's parents kick him out of the house. Keitarou is forced to go to his Grandma's Inn, but what he doesn't know is the fact that the Inn has turned into an all girls' dormitory. Keitarou becomes the manager of the dormitory. Now that Keitarou is completely surrounded by females some interesting events should occur.
The show is a mix of genres focusing mainly on romance and comedy. Every episode is packed with comedy and laughter. The art is fantastic and superb as is its style. Colors are vivid and appealing, and the animation is perfectly fluid. The plot of Love Hina can draw almost any Anime Fan into pure addiction, it's almost impossible not to fall in love with the characters. Each character is unique in there own way, and it really adds to the flavor of the series. |
