| Now that Adult Swim is on Saturdays in my area I have seen all the episodes, well up to what's been playing on tv. The series was first aired in Japan August of 2000. The series starts with a girl named, �Kagome,� a normal Japanese schoolgirl and Inuyasha, a half-demon/half human being. So basically Kagome finds a way to travel back to feudal Japan (I think she uses a special well) during her 15th birthday when she finds Inuyasha. There is an object called, �Shikon no Tama,� that Kagome shatters with her bow and arrow scattering it into tiny jewels around feudal Japan. Now Inuyasha and Kagome must collect all the pieces to restore it to its original form before other more dangerous demons *other than Inuyasha* get to it. Along the way they meet a half fox demon (Shippou), a monk (Miroku), and a demon slayer (Sango). |
