| Hamtaro is another different anime that appeared in the u.s. on June 3, 2002. (It's something I'm not really into). It was created by Ritsuko Kawai (no idea on gender). The series is mainly about hamsters (one hamster in particular named, "Hamtaro," go figure...). Hamtaro and his other pals (Bijou, Oxnard, Boss, Pashima, Penelope, Howdy, Dexter, Sandy, Maxwell, Cappy, Panda, Stan, Jingle, and Snoozer) sneak out of their master�s houses to go play in the Ham-ham (that�s what they call the group) clubhouse and that�s when the fun begins. They�ve done everything from returning Laura�s (Hamtaro�s owner) glass slipper for her play to sneaking in a van to the beach. Hamtaro was originally a young girl anime cartoon, but it is so cute that it has expanded to all ages and genders. |
