In both Cardcaptor series Sakura is trying to capture all the Clow Cards. But in CCS, it concentrates on Sakura. In Cardcaptors they try to push Syaoran into every episode along with Meilin.
In CCS Sakura is converting the cards, because she doesn't want them to die. Since Clow Reed has been dead for so long the Clow cards are losing all of their power. Sakura is friends with them, plus they aren't just cards... they're living too!
But in CC, the storyline is different. If the cards aren't converted, then they will be free again and can destroy the world! I like the CCS storyline more, because it shows human compassion... ^^ It's also about friendship, and that's the coolest. |
