The Anniversary - Designing a Nervous Breakdown
The Anniversary's "Designing a Nervous Breakdown" is quite possibly one of the best releases I've ever heard. Well crafted songs, catchy hooks, tight harmonies, and beautiful lyrics set the mood for a great album. From the first track of "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" to "Outro in No Minor," I find myself humming along to these infectious emo/pop tunes. This album is 10 tracks of pure genius. Every time I listen to this album I find myself wishing back to childhood for some reason. This music definitely has a profound effect. It has a way of transporting me. The moog work is just icing on the cake. That's right my friends... MOOG, in every song! If you do not have this album, you need it. It always brings a smile to face. Do yourself a favor and buy this rekkid!
