GROWING APART
It seems that while we were growing up,
we also grew apart.
I just wanted to let you know
you're always in my heart.
The times we had were always fun,
those times we laughed all night.
We always got along so well,
we never had a fight.
Sometimes I feel that I'm to blame,
deep down I know it's true.
But even when I wasn't there,
I would stop and think of you.
It's too late now to say I'm sorry,
though I am and I feel so bad.
I never meant to hurt you,
make you cry, or make you sad.
I'll always consider you my best friend,
I love you and I still care.
