SHE'S GONE AWAY
She's gone away
into the unknown
land.
Her life was taken
by her own hand.
If we'd
only listened
to her cries for help,
we could have
helped her
save herself.
We saw her tears,
we just
wiped them dry.
But we never held her
when she'd
cry.
We thought about her alot,
though we weren't
always there.
I guess that she thought
we just didn't
care.
But it's too late now,
because she's gone
away.
Though in our hearts
she'll always stay.
