| A (95/90) Solid thesis, very strong writing. No factual, grammatical and/or typographical errors. Far exceeds the minimum requirements for sources. B (85/80) Strong thesis, strong writing. meets more than the minimum requirements for sources. Very few factual, grammatical and/or typographical errors. C (75/70) Adequate thesis and acceptable writing, but some factual, grammatical and/or typographical errors. Meets the minimum requirements for the project. D (65/60) No obvious thesis or the project fails to meet the minimum number of sources required. Many factual, grammatical and/or typographical errors. F (0) No paper submitted Please note: to earn the corresponding letter grade, all of these listed elements must be present. For example, a paper with 20 sources that is very poorly written and contains factual, grammatical and/or typographical errors may earn the same grade as a paper that meets the minimum number of sources required and composes a generally well written paper. *** Remember: Each calendar day a paper is late (including weekends and holidays), the penalty is one letter grade deducted from the final project grade.*** |
