Take a trip through Country music from the days of Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Cash, and Johnny Horton, to modern artists like The Mavericks, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, and Brad Paisley. Rockin' artists from Elvis, Bill Haley, and Buddy Holly from the 1950's to the 1960's with The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and The Animals. All aspects of Rock music are covered. From the sounds of Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, The Doors, John Mellencamp, and Billy Idol. To Bruce Springsteen and Nirvana. Oh Yes! | Featuring Leif Eddy Haynes Vocals and Guitar Leif Eddy Haynes is a singer,guitarist,and songwriter from the Pacific Northwest. He has been playing and singing since the age of nine. He has been playing gigs steadily since 1973 while still in high school. He has played all over the West Coast, Canada and Alaska all his life. He played rock and roll till 1982 when he went back to his roots and started playing country music. His earliest influence was the music of Johnny Horton. Altho' he didn't start playing guitar till he was nine, he drove his parents crazy singing "The Battle of New Orleans" at the age of four. He still sings the song at every country gig today. His first album called "Lonesome and Blue" is available on Pacific Northern Records on CD and MP3. In a newer turn of events He started performing old Rat Pack songs in Alaska a few years ago and has added many more from that genre to round out the show. (See History Page) |
