This is the approved fanlisting for the father/daughter relationship between Leia Organa and Anakin Skywalker a.k.a Darth Vader. As you probably know (if not why are you even here?), Anakin Skywalker was a Jedi knight who turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader, dark lord of the Sith. Before he turned, he married Padm� Amidala, a senator from Naboo. They had twins afterwards, one of them being Leia. They were both hidden from Anakin after he turned in fear of their potential force sensitivity. Well, ever since I saw the Original Trilogy, I was intrigued by Leia and Darth Vader's relationship. They weren't your typical father and daughter (he did torture her and destroy her homeplanet), but they were very much alike and yet so different. Plus, since Darth Vader still had a bit of Anakin in him, I believe that he could have been a good father to Luke and Leia. Also, at some point in her life, Leia accepted him as her father because she named her son, Anakin Solo, after him.
