Now this is a story in which I tried to attempt to finish what I had started: The Mr. Idiot
Stories...but I just couldn’t do it. It wasn’t the same. I wrote this to another friend...but
it just didn’t feel right. Because of this , I wrote her the original Endor story...which I
can’t find....but if I do, I will also include it here...
Mr. Idiot Stories: (Vera) story #13 The Maurder’s Christine’s
Story Part 1 (the only part)
You and the sixteen other travelers with you are taking your time in deciding what
to do next. You don’t really think these people look trustworthy enough to follow,
however, others in your group think they are. You guys (and me, since I’m traveling wit
you now I guess I should really be saying “us” or “our group”.) have a little bit of an
argument over this whole issue. So, what happens is the companions split up. Christine
(Paul & Joseph’s younger sister) sides with the people for helping the maurders. You
and I don’t. The maurder helpers (the people siding with the maurders) are as follows:
Christine Reynolds, Shirley Jones, Krista Babioone, Katrina Muggleton, and Alex
Katrone. Everyone else is against it (or so it appears at the moment)
Christine, the had of the group tells everyone (from this story on out, each episode
will be in a certain character's point of view, starting here.) Well, you think to yourself
how should I tell the others this? How could you possibly tell Vera or Leia, or your
brother you would like to change direction and not continue on with them. You know
that a few others share your opinion, so you ask for a vote. You say, “Whoever is in
favor of helping the maurders, please come with me.” You are surprised to see that
Shirley, Krista, Katrina, and Alex all side with you.
Vera says, “Fine, don’t side with us. But if something bad happens to you, don’t
say I didn’t warn you.”
The gwythaint! You guys have almost forgotten about it. You don’t notice it
again until this point. Your former travelers all rush off. There’s something different
about hem (the number, perhaps?) Still considering that you and a few other left the
group, it still seems like there should be more leaving you. You shrug your shoulders and
say, “Oh, well.” The gwythaint notices the split in the group. Glancing between you and
the companions and some other possible vantagepoint, the gwythaint chooses you. You
think to yourself, “because we’re better than the others.” This is the gwythaint’s
message: (write it backwards) You people are headed for trouble, and if you don’t watch
it, you’ll put the Companions in danger. Especially the ones with a strong force” Vera,
Leia, Eilonwy, Riana, Luke. Well, actually, not Eilonwy, she’s the one putting herself in
danger. Christine, you’ll be in trouble, for sure, so you’d better watch it! (end of
message). You and none of the people you’re with have any idea what it means. Krista,
though seems to be writing something. You walk over to her to discover that she is
writing one letter down at a time. you look up just in time to see the gwythaint holding
one letter up. When it ‘s done (I’m talking about the gwythaint that you don’t know the
name of) it flies over to the companions. You don’t really give a care why or for what
reason. You’re just glad that creature’s gone. Gwythaints scare you. (The only reason is
because you heard the others talk about them. That’s how you know what species it is.)
You turn to your friends and then to the maurders and say, to them (the maurders) “How can we be of service to you?” All of a sudden all the maurders jump up running and
come towards you all at once. To find out what happens next, I guess you’ll just have to
wait awhile.
