MOONLIGHT
The silver moonlight falls on pools of blackest night
Lighting the spark in yuor eyes
Outshining the brightest star
The waves rolling to the steady beat of my heart
Pounding, heaving, turbulence
Racing to the shore
Echoing my heart, Your heart
As we lay in the sand
Bathing in moonlight
Flesh, translucent in its glow
Water droplets like dew
Tumble and merge
Uniting as we, as one
Our bodies in tune, in time
With the waves that lap the shore
Heaving tides that roll and fall
Breaking in a crescendo of foam
Spilling, tumbling, subsiding
Rising again, to fall once more.
