2Dimensional
     By Annonymous (1)
I look through soaking eyelashes
At the photo I took of you-
Remember, that time in Central Park
When I dared you to wear the hat,
The one you stole from a kid with an ice cream cone.
You said he couldnt have both.
I wipe my eyes,
Dry now, they trace the frame of your
Face.
And in this moment I see your face
In your car parked outside my house,
Close to mine, whispering some secret.
And I smell you, here, now, although
Youre just in the photo.

Youre sitting on my bed,
Sniffling and holding a photograph.
Some color snapshot of a boy
You knew before you moved.
All I see is a kid in a hat,
Smiling- a typical American blonde.
Hes 2-dimensional, and so are your feelings.
You miss someone youve lost,
So you sit on the bed, in the room
Of someone youve still got, and cry for him.
