Title: Betrayal is Never Forgiven

      Legolas, Ananlae, Gimli and the four hobbits were gathered around a fire. Sam 
looked at Legolas and asked, “Aren’t we afraid of orcs or ring wraiths? Won’t a fire 
attract them?”
     
Legolas nodded.  “That is very true Sam, fires would attract our enemies, but the ring is 
already doing that so we may as well just have a fire.”

      Pippin laughed merrily at Sam, “Besides silly, how else would we cook this here 
bacon.”

      Frodo didn’t seem to be paying any attention. “Where is Aragorn?” 

      Legolas was the one ot answer. “Keeping watch on Boromir. Actually, I believe that 
he may need some time away from Boromir. I shall take over if he will permit”

 
        Legolas walked over to Aragorn, not even the ranger’s hightened senses could detect 
the graceful footfalls of the elf. Legolas only put a hand on his shoulder. “Relieve 
yourself of this duty Aragorn, I will take over. You need some rest.”

       Aragorn kept looking ahead, “You truly are a wonderful being Legolas.” He got up 
and put his hand on Legolas’ shoulder this time. “You are also a wonderful friend.” 

       Legolas watched his friend walk away and knew that Aragorn was deeply troubled. 
Obviously the fellowship was breaking as Galadriel had predicted and Aragorn felt that it 
was his falt. But it was not, it was Boromir’s.

       “Hey Legolas, come here.” Said Boromir in a mischievious tone. “I would like to ask 
you a question.”

       “I would sooner answer a question asked by Sauron himself.”

       “How does it feel to know that the elf you love is keeping secrets from you?”

        Legolas remained calm. “Don’t speak Boromir, it’s useless because no one wants to 
hear what words may come out of your mouth. “

      “Oh, but you’d listen to Analae am I right? You’d listen to a wretched, lying, half 
human girl. Let me tell you something Legolas, her father stopped protecting her a long 
time ago. Don’t think that you can because that girl isn’t worthy of love.”

      Legolas glared at Boromir and got close enough so that they could hear each other 
breath. “If Analae needs protecting, I’ll give it to her, but if you call her one more name 
or speak of her again then she will definitly not need protecting from you. If I didn’t have 
the respect I have for Aragorn and his wishes than you would not even be here right 
now.” 

      After that being said Legolas moved a way from the man and sat by a nearby tree. He 
thought about some of the things that Boromir had said. About her father and her being 
half human. There were many things that needed to be settled, but for now he wouldn’t 
push Analae. He wouldn’t force her to bring back the past until she was ready. He figured 
that they had a while since Legolas didn’t plan on ever leaving Analae’s side. Ever.
 
*****Okay you guys, I am really sorry that the chapter was so short and slow, but I felt 
like I just had to get some things out of the way. I promise more action soon. I guess right 
now I’m just having a writer’s block or something. And also, I have a question for you 
readers, does it seem like Legolas and Analae are in love or should I have more scenes 
with the talking? But anyways, thak you to my reviewers and keep on reading.
