Thank you to my reviewers for bringing my format problem to my attention. Please bare with me if this chapter is a little slow. Analae stood perfectly still fearing that if she were to move even an centimeter her neck would be sliced by the knife. She didn’t have to look behind her though in order to know who it was. “So Boromir, still trying to fool people into thinking that you’re noble and brave?” “You always did like to share quick words with me. You better be careful though because I’m in charge now. Come to think of it, I always was wasn’t I?” Analae had had enough of that. She elbowed him in the stomach and tried to get herself away. Even though she felt satisfied in hearing him gasp for air, she could also feel a deep cut where the knife had penetrated her neck. She would’ve paid more attention to the pain if Boromir wasn’t trying to catch up with her. “Get back here. You can’t run forever.” Boromir chased after Analae in a mad dash. “You’re right.” Analae stopped running and stood to face Boromir. “I can’t and believe me. I won’t, I will find you when you are least expecting it. Don’t think that you’re going to get away with what you’ve taken from me.” Holding a hand firmly over her neck she watched as Boromir smiled a smile that could’ve chased any orc away. “I’ll be on my way now. You just keep that wound as it is and whenever you scream with pain, think of me.” Boromir walked away back to the body of water where his possessions lie. Analae still stood shaking from fear, anger, and pain. It was only seconds until she passed out into a heap on the ground. Legolas sat next to the beauty beside him. He should never have let her go. Elves can sense things, they can feel things and when he felt that he should’ve followed her earlier...he should have. Watching the elven maiden to his side he thought of how he felt when he found her lying on the forrest floor with no one to comfort her sleeping sole. He knew then that even though he just met this she-elf he was deeply, and forever in love and would forever stay by her side and even help her to gain back the medallion from Boromir if thats what it took to gain her trust. Analae’s sole shimmered inside her. Even though the cut that Boromir had inflicted did not kill her, her heart was slowely starting to collapse. She needed some one to love, not to hate. When the thought of love came into her mind, a picture of Legolas was clearly displayed. Although she did indeed not know him yet, just thinking of his peacful, kindly voice made her heart smile and insides giggle. That’s when she came into consiousness. “How are you feeling?” Legolas asked calmly, the last thing he needed to do was startle her. “Where are we?” Analae asked ignoring his first question. “How are you feeling?” Legolas asked once again. “Where are we?” Analae asked again stubbornly. “How are you feeling?” “Urrrgh! I’d feel better if you’d answer my question!” Analae argued stubbornly. “Hmmmm, you must be feeling quite alright if you are well enough to yell at me so.” Legolas chuckled. “We are in a tree as you would’ve noticed if you weren’t busy asking the wrong questions. You’re lucky that I got to you before the fellowship did. Boromir has them convinced that you snuck up on him in the lake with a few swordsmen. I do not know whether or not my friends believe him, but if they do then it won’t be long until they find out the truth. The fellowship is not blind.” Ananlae looked at him skeptically on the outside, but dreamily on the inside. “So then whats the plan?” Legolas looked at her seriously. “Were going to see the fellowship.” On a path about seven miles west, the fellowship chatted about what had become of their elf. Gimli was ever on the pessimistic side. “You don’t think he left us do you?” asked Merry doubtedly. “Of course he has desserted us, he’s an elf! He’s probably with that other one too!” “I don’t think that Legolas would do that to us.” Argued Sam somewhat quietly. “He wouldn’t and he hasn’t.” Spoke Aragorn. “Don’t speak so foolishly of our friend Gimli, I would remind you of the times that Legolas has saved your life.” Boromir finished pacing back and forth and looked at Aragorn, “You have been blinded my brother. Don’t you see that Legolas has taken up with the devil elf that tried to kill me?!” “I have no doubt that that is who he is with, but not matter, Legolas is smart and sure and he would not be fooled by any creature. If she really is what you say Boromir, then he will make sure that she is not a problem to us.” “What do you mean if she is what I say? Do you doubt me?” When Aragorn remained neutral Boromir threw up his hands yelled. “You are not fit to lead this fellowship, I will take the ring myslef!” Suddenly he lunged at Frodo. Although he did make connection with a body, it was not Frodo’s. It was Legolas whom had lunged at Boromir in order to protect Frodo. The two tussled on the ground until Analae had a sword firmly pointed on Boromir’s back. “Get up Legolas, you stay down Boromir!” Legolas got up and stood next to Aragorn who was waiting for the know from Legolas. The elf simply put a hand on the ranger’s shoulder. Aragorn knew that it was true, his fellow human was a traitor, much like his ancestors before him. He focused back on the she elf with the sword. “Hand me the medallion!” The hobbits whom were gathered protectively around Frodo stared astonished at Boromir, a man they had trusted with their lives. They watched as Boromir again refused. “A filth such as you doesn’t deserve to wear such a fine medallion, neither did your mother.” At this remark, Analae put a little more force on the poking sword. “I wouldn’t push it if I were you.” Analae used all the restraint she had not to kill him. She looked at Aragorn, “What are we to do with him?” Aragorn looked disgustedly at Boromir. “We trusted you. I fought off evil by your side. You don’t deserve to live. You don’t deserve to die either.” Aragorn looked to the fellowship. “We can not let Boromir go, he will travel on with us to mount Doom where we will destroy the ring. Merry, Pippen, go fetch some rope for we will not let this traitor roam.” As Gimli helped the hobbits tie Boromir’s hands behind his back Analae walked by and smiled. “Deja vu.” She then bent over and took the emdallion from Boromir’s neck. “This isn’t over.” He grumbled. “You’re right. It’s not.”
