MP5A submachine gun out of the LEGO 10019 STAR WARS blockade runner: Because I had nothing else to do.

July 26, 2005: I have posted the instructions in the form of a time lapse exploded view on Brickshelf since the plans are about 5 MB.

These plans are for the revised model of the MP5A, since the original was off in proportions.

Stock extends, trigger moves, but has no function or tension pulling it back. Fixed the optical sight, stock length and added a cocking mechanism (which doesn't do much).

All the parts can be found in the LEGO STAR WARS collector series Blockade Runner 10019. This means, if you bought or own one, you can easily build this model using the pictures on Brickshelf. The pictures aren't the best nor are they as detailed as the pics for the LEGO handgun and shotgun, but include many shots of the gun itself. MLCAD was too much of a hassle to use, so photos worked better. This set is now out of production, but you can easily find one at a retail store with old inventory or online.
