The Cour des Miracles:
The Ancient Anarch Coterie
Named after the infamous Cour des Miracles, this Coterie gathered disatisfied Anarchs of the Dark Ages. Among them, a charismatic leader, François Villon, who became, after the Convention of Thorn, the chambellan of Beatrix as a gesture of peace.
In truth, the Convention of Thorn was the end of the Kindred Cour des Miracles. Most members, powerful Anarchs, either choose the Sabbat side or became powerful, if at first distrusted, members of the Camarilla, and are now Elders by their own rights.
Still, the memories of the Cour des Miracles remains, the Neonates telling each other how the Cour des Miracles frightened so much the Elders, and destroyed the tyrants Alexandre and Saviarre.
Destiny
The Cour des Miracle already outlived its usefulness. In 1998-1999, the Anarchs will speak about creating it anew, but will probably fail.
Organization
There is no organization of this ancient Coterie, which was introduced here just for interest's sake.
François Villon: Prince of Paris and France.
While at first not the official leader, he took the power after a deadly encounter wirth Ventrue Ancillae. His tactical genius, charisma and restlesness will guide the Cour the Miracles to the apex of its power. In the years preceding the Convention of Thorn, the Cour des Miracles will remain a highly successful Anarch cell, but the general massacre will lead every Anarch leader to organize a meeting with the Camarilla for a peace Treaty. The Camarilla, while boasting about its power, will be remembered by Villon himself that the Anarch offer now honorable peace for each party, but won't hesitate to fight to the death should certain condition not be meet. This will attract him the hatred of some Elders, but soon, he will, with the help of Raphael de Corazon, organize peace. Still, some believe it was all an outrageous intrigue of the Clan Toreador to take the power over France. Villon doesn't care, as he is Prince of France. While the Anarchs see him as a betrayer, they must recognize Villon tolerate the Anarchs and the Bâtards more than the other Princes of Europe.

Ivan: Grand Master of the Masques
Yes! The Tyran Ivan was an Anarch! He was the muscle of the Cour des Miracles, and he was feared by most Elders. His loyalty to Villon is complete, and he followed him into the Camarilla without a second thought. Ivan is now the nightmare of the Anarchs. While they believe he is cruel and a bravo, they would be surprised to understand that he works out of idealism. The Masquerade has become is only and unconditional religion, because he believes no Kindred will be safe while the Masquerade is endangered. They would be surprised, too, to understand that Ivan, despite his apparent disgust for Bâtards, has no love lost for the Elders, and that if he doesn't hesitate to make murderous shows of his power and authority, he won't hesitate to pursue an Elder guilty of breaching the Masquerade... Unless an arrangement can be done, for the good of Villon of course!
