"Some History on LEGION"Legion was formed in the year 1996 by Ahzir and Heer. The two were very inspired
by the current black metal scene. They began to make various demo tapes and work on
thier first real song formations. In the beginning everything the band had formed
a style for themselves very similar to Abruptum's style on black metal. As time
went on however they grew into a thrashy type of heavy black metal. They recorded
a promo song entitled Enthrone the Night for Flatline Records in 1999. (still available
E-Mail Me its free) The band then took a break as all members are busy with other things.
During this time Heer left LEGION and Azaral took over as the front man of the band.
The band is currently working on its first full length output in Necro Studios in Wisconsin.
It is as yet untitled and a few songs are pretty much done. Expect a release in late 2002
or early 2003. august 2002 brought us Jake, our bass player, and it brought back the original
vocalist Heer, things are moving much faster in the past month or two.
