Legion Of Strength and Honor

Guild Charter

Mission of Purpose:

We are a group of friends bonded by heart as a family. We welcome all races, classes and deities. Our goal is to spread kindness and peace throughout Norrath, ending the long wars of hate and discontent. We are honor bound to each other by our commitments to uphold our mission of unity. Ours is a purpose of honor and strength individually, yet as a whole, keeping our family's welfare above all the highest priority. We strive to add to the chapter of Norrathian History by paving the way for a more kind and gentle generation.

Statement of Truth:

The Legion of Strength and Honor recognizes that all are created equal. There is no superior race or class. We maintain that to be the truth of our family. Each individual is important as well as revered for their own special talents and gifts. No one will be treated poorly due to prejudice or by virtue of their race and/or profession. Ours is a family based upon virtues of heart, spirit and a will to not only survive, but to make our world a better place.

Code of Ethics:

The Legion of Strength and Honor upholds a "Code of Ethics" and requires that anyone interested in joining our family will abide by the same. Our code is one of moral upstanding and community awareness. Please read the following carefully before making the final commitment to our Guild.

1) The Legion of Strength and Honor has a zero tolerance policy regarding prejudice of any sort or fashion. Guild members will strive to be exemplary not only in stature, but also in their ability to be leaders of the community. Setting a precedence for others to follow by treating all with kindness and respect. In the face of a conflict, it is maintained that a LoSAH member will refrain from racial and/or prejudice slurs, keeping the due amount of respect for the other character involved. Though you are NOT required to back down without defending yourself or your family.

2) LoSAH members will remember that we are indeed a family. As such, family comes first. The "Good of the whole" is to be always in the fore front of your mind. When a family member is in need, we will all do our best to pull together and meet that need. However, do not confuse this for having a Personal "Cleric .. bard .. warrior etc" in your pocket. It means only that we DO pull together and help to the best of our abilities, individually and as a whole.

3) Our Honor is our Shield. We strive to be stellar in all ways. We are duty bound by our professions as well as by our code. If you are able to lend a hand to a citizen in need, it is expected that you will do so readily and without hesitation. Payment is secondary to the deed itself. There will be no base charge allowed for simple acts of kindness. Donations will be accepted, though not required. Concerning a trade skill or making of items, charges to the guild family will be for cost only, all others will be at your discretion.

4) Unity is our key. All LoSAH members maintain a close family relationship. For disputes between family members, you should seek the guidance of a guild officer. The Guild Officers maintain an open door policy and will be available for consultation at the earliest agreed upon time. Everyone is important. All problems are important. Hesitate not to seek advice or council.

5) Strength is our weapon. Strength in numbers as well as like minds will keep us growing and flourishing. Maintain your pride and conviction to our goal. Remember, we try hard to set the example.

6) Legion of Strength and Honor will not participate in, nor will we condone "Guild Wars". Diplomacy will prevail within our folds and we shall NOT succumb to the pettiness of war.

7) LoSAH is founded on the principles and definitions of Peace, Valor, Honor, Strength and Unity. We will continually peruse the growth of these principles within and around. What makes us different, is our diversity in persona, our commitment to standard and our fight to raise the bar.

General Guidelines and Rules:

1) We ARE a role-play guild. All "Guild Chat" will be in Role. If you need to slip out of character, please do so privately through tells to the individual(s) that you require conversation with. Maintain your character roll during game play as well. Define and develop who and what you are, your history and biography. Stick with that plan to fruition and grow strong individually as well as within the guild.

2) Keep a constant eye on our membership roster. Try to group with members of our guild that are in your level range. Getting to know one another on a personal basis will make for a healthy family bond.

3) All members are recruiters. Keep your eyes and ears open for prospective members who will uphold our values. Bring their names to the attention of a guild officer so that we may contact them.

4) Keep in mind, we have an active guild leader. All major decision are to be approved by him.

5) LoSAH requires that all members adhere to the "Play Nice" policy directed by Verant. When in doubt, check it out. Ask a senior guild member or Guild officer if you are unsure of a situation or action. Make yourself familiar with the rules of the game as set by Verant. Also, make good use of the web pages available to you.

6) We are here to help, guide and assist. Though you are expected to familiarize yourself with the platform of the game and the general game play rules, functions and protocol. Explore the help pages available, research desired information and ask as a last resort.

7) Though LoSAH strives to assist each member in every way possible, it is ultimately your responsibility to advance at your own rate, find groups, research quests and generally have fun.
