POLISTIL BAMBOLE
Above, Polistil releases Leggy dolls under the name Polstil Bambole in white boxes, in 1975-76, after the dolls were long gone in the US.  The boxes feature great personified sketches of the dolls wearing mod fashions.  The back of the boxes feature writing in four languages, including English, that says that these dolls do not have names so you can use your imaginations to make them anything you want them to be.  The doll shown above is Sue in her stock dress.  The set comes with a brochure, featuring the regular fashions, as well as high-end versions by designer Ken Scott  A few of the pages are below and I will add more.  The side of the boxes have a sticker identifying which doll is inside (LG1, etc.)

Below:  From the catalogue, various 'white box' packaged dolls and outfits, as well as a real 'white box' version of the Halter and Bells outfit.
Happy Holidays set by Polistil
Polistil also released holiday sets that included one Leggy doll and one outfit stapled into a massive cardboard overlay, shaped like a Christmas Tree.  The bubbles of the doll and the oufit show through the front, and as seen above, when you flip the set over you see the card backs.  Dolls and outfits were paired together at random.  The set features writing in Italian about collecting all the dolls and outfits.
