| Ok, I don't know how fun these facts really are, but they are fairly interesting at least! *The Leggy dolls are notorious for having "swingy" or loose joints. The arms and legs are sometime partially loose in the sockets, and often you can find a doll missing an arm. I have noticed that is usually the left arm that is missing! *Despite being 10-inches tall, Leggys are so skinny they can wear Topper Dawn clothing *The Kate doll comes with straight hair in the European release, but curly hair in the North American release *All dolls, even the Japanese Versions, are marked Hasbro 1972 Hong Kong on their buttocks *The Jill doll has various shades of blonde hair, depending on the release *Sue's stock dress varies by release. Some have a slit in the front, and others have that slit sewn together as a seam *Nan's stock outfit also has variations. The green varies from a light chartreuse to a darker green. The darker green usually is complemented with a white material that is more see-through in nature. The light green outfit has white fabric that is more opaque. *Beware of Jill dolls packaged on US cards. Examine them very carefully for bugs. I have gotten several of these dolls, and every single one had the same bugs inside. I finally kept one, opened the bubble and had the wonderful task of cleaning the bubble and doll. I don't know if this is a coincidence, but please check! |
