General Appearance
The Great Pyrenees has a very elegant appearance overall. The almond shaped eyes are a rich dark brown. The small to medium sized ears are the shape of a rounded V. The muzzle has a smooth transition to the head (no apparent stop). The nose and lips are black. The neck is strongly muscled, and the back is level. The tail is of good length, and is well plumed. The forearm meets the shoulder at an approximate right-angle. All four limbs are well-muscled, and there is a double dewclaw on each hind leg (but these may not be visible to long fur).
Color
Acceptable colors are all white or white with markings of gray, badger, reddish brown, or tan. Markings of varying size may appear on the ears, head (including a full face mask), tail, and as a few body spots.
Disqualifications
Colors other than all white or white with markings of gray, badger, reddish brown, or tan.
Markings exceeding 1/3 of the coat.
