The Legend of Zelda The WindWaker came out in 2003 on the Nintendo GameCube.
The Story goes as follows. On Links 16th birthday Link finally came of age and was required to wear the tunic made by his grandma which represented the Legendary Hero of Time. Now only a legend passed down on this one island called Outset Island. Everyone else had completely forgotten about their savior from long ago.
On that same day Links sister was kidnapped by a giant bird and after helping the pirates Link was taken aboard the ship.
At first Link set out on an adventure to rescue but when he failed and was almost killed then rescued by a small ship with the spirit of the king of Hyrule contained inside, his adventure changed and he became The Waker of the Winds and over time weiled The Master Sword and After finding all of the fragments of the triforce of courage he put them together into one and had a final showdown with Ganon.
When he was victorious he and Zelda were spared from the wreakage of Hyrule when the barrier broke and Hyrule was destroyed for good.
