The Legend of Zelda Part I: The Hero of Time
Prologue:

In the beginning all was nothingness until the three goddesses made the world of Hyrule.

This world at first glance appeared nothing until it became quite prosperous and people began to inhabit the dense forests. Once the Hyrule Castle was complete the king knew he must form an alliance with the surrounding cultures scattered across the many places in Hyrule before war broke out between them.

During his travels the king came across an amazing lake dwelling race called the Zora's. These Zora's became quite loyal to the royal family of Hyrule Castle, due to the kings kindness. The king also met the Goron's, a race of strong, tough creatures who loved the mountains more than anything else. These Goron's also became a strong alliance and were offered a new town called Kakariko Village but due to their love of the mountains were forced to refuse. The king also discovered a race of thieves very much similar to the Hylians in looks and shape but made up of mostly women except for the man born every 100 years called Ganon. This race was called the Gerudo, but Ganon and his followers didn't like Hyrule and only accepted the alliance so Hyrule wouldn't know their full power.

After a short number of years Ganons army attacked Hyrule and some Hylians fled for their lives including a woman with a new born son named Link. After arriving in an unknown forest she pleaded with a mysterious tree and its followers called the Kokiri to raise her son after she died. She died soon after.
Chapter 1: Forest of Hope

Link was raised as all Kokiri were until he was 10 years old. One day during his 10th year The Great Deku Tree asked him to see him at once. When Link arrived The Deku Tree told of the horrible deeds Ganon had done to him, and that link was fated to save Hyrule from Ganon before it was too late.
Link then took the Deku Tree's stone and secretly met Princess Zelda daughter of the king of Hyrule, in the castle. Zelda then told link of the prophecy she had seen. Link was then instructed to find the other two stones.

Link got his second stone from the Goron's after he cleaned out the dungeon sealed off by Ganon, and resolved the problem of not having enough food. Link got his third stone from the Zora's from rescuing their princess from Jaba-Jaba. The princess gave the stone to Link as a wedding pendant due to her sudden love for Link.
Link then used the three stones in the temple of time along with the Ocarina of Time given to him by Princess Zelda during her escape, and opened the Door of Time blocking the Master Sword. Link then drew the Master Sword but it released the Triforces from their slumber, and gave Ganon unnatural power when he arrived.
After seven years link was released from the Sacred Realm where the Triforces had once lain in, and Rauru one of six sages told Link he must find and awaken the remaining five sages. Link also learned that the Triforce of Courage had stayed with him bestowing him enough Courage to fight Ganon's immense Power. The Triforce of Wisdom was nowhere to be found. Sheik then appeared and told Link to seek the first sage in the forest someone whom he knew Link to remember.

Link discovered The first Sage was his best friend in Kokiri Forest. The second Sage was his friend the Leader of the Goron's. The third Sage was the Zora princess whom he vowed marriage to in his childhood. The fourth Sage was none other than Impa, Zelda's nursemaid, Leader of the Sheikans. The final Sage was the top leader of the Gerudo under Ganon. Later he discovered Princess Zelda was also a Sage whom was the leader of the Sages and of Hyrule. When Link met with Zelda she told of her containing the Triforce of Wisdom this however angered Ganon forcing him to kidnap her.

After awakening them all Link faught heroically with Ganon until Ganon was banished into the realm of the triforce along with the Triforce of Power.

After the battle Zelda thanked Link for all his hard work but told him of the importance that he be sent back in time to avoid the loss of seven years in his life. Link was then sent back 7 years and became a boy again.
Chapter 2: An impending Doom

Link now was completely forgotten by all except of Princess Zelda. When Link told of her of his plans to leave, Zelda gave him the Ocarina of Time once again and retaught him the song of time to use in his travels. Link then took the Kokiri sword and got himself a Hylian shield.

After that Link began to explore unexplored forests near the forests of the Kokiri in search of an invaluable friend, when suddenly a familiar imp wearing an unusual mask accompanied by two fairies, knocked him off his horse, and then stole the Ocarina of Time.

Link then woke up to find the Imp playing with the ocarina. The Imp fearing for the worst leaped on the horse followed by the two fairies and started galloping. Link being quick grabbed one of the horses legs and hung on almost all the way to a cave, where the Imp ran into.

Link followed and fell into a
warp (and as he was disappearing the Triforce of Courage broke into eight pieces and stayed behind scattered throughout Hyrule) leading to Termina and ended up in the basement of a mysterious Tower. Immediately he found the Imp who turned him into a Deku Shrub, and left with one of the fairies. The other fairy accidentally got left behind and remained with Link.

Link kept on going until he arrived at a door and a
mask salesman told of the mask the Imp wore and of a deal he could make with Link to return him back to normal. Link accepted due to his love of adventure and his anxiety to return back to normal.

Link went through the door to discover a town called
Clock Town in the middle of a new land named Termina. After exploring he discovered the fate of this town, which the moon was going to crash in exactly three days to destroy all of Termina unless someone could stop the Imp.

Link met up with the Imp after three days of searching and used all the strength he could muster as a Deku Shrub and got the ocarina back. He then played the Song of Time and time restarted back three days to the exact moment he had first arrived in Clock Town.

He then consulted with the mask salesman who taught him a song which suddenly returned him back to normal.

Link then traveled to each of the four countries of
Swamp, Mountain, Ocean, and Canyon each containing its own god and rescued each of the four gods.

After using the gods to hold back the moon the mask that the Imp wore then left the Imp due to its weaknesses, and became a powerful monster. Link however had become quite powerful during his travels and had no problem defeating the mask. Link then returned the mask to the mask salesman, and left Termina.

Epilogue:

When he arrived in Hyrule he found the castle being attacked by Ganon's minions. Inside he fought hard but when seeing a worried grandmother with two small grandchildren he decided to protect them. He then witnessed the storms from the heavens covering his mother land.

Link just as the king's mind, was unaltered and he didn't forget about Hyrule like everyone around him. Knowing he wasn't needed for any heroic efforts he sailed south with a few people who were some new friends of his and the grandmother and her two grandchildren. All of his new friends thought they had always lived on WindFall Island but hadn't had any idea they had been placed there only a few months prior by the gods.

They then sailed south in hope of finding a new island to settle on. While sailing they found an island to the far south and named it Outset Island. Link then built his house in the forest on the far top of the island nearby a fairy fountain he discovered. He later told of his journey but knowing of their clouded memory he spoke of them as if they were just forgotten stories lost to time.

The small baby boy belonging to the grandmother was then named Link after the hero in his story. This story over the next 100 years became a legend and young boys honored the hero from the legend by performing small acts of heroism when they came of age.
