When a man threatened to tear apart a truce created by the king of Hyrule between the many races. The Deku Tree knew he must summon the boy of destiny named Link to stop Ganon.
After a long quest Link was successful in gathering together all the sages and defeating Ganon. After his fierce battle with Ganon, Zelda forced him back into his childhood.
When he became a kid again and he decided to go on a quest in search of a friend. When he left his triforce of Courage was left behind.
When he arrived at the land of Termina he was horrified by the threat the moon posed.
When he figured out a way to restart the 3 day cycle over and over by using the Ocarina of Time, Link indeed saved the land and made a friend at last.
After 100 years The land of Hyrule was lost below the ocean and a new Link began his quest to save his sister, all of The Great Sea, the legendary Hyrule, and to gather the fragments of the triforce of Courage back together.
Later on however he became the Wind Waker and eventually defeated Ganon once again just as The Hero of Time once did.
After his victory Link grew tired of Hyrule and went on an ocean voyage for enlightenment but sank in a storm.
When Link awoke he discovered he was on an island in a dreamworld of the Wind Fish. After collecting eight instuments Link awakend the Wind Fish and the island disappeared. Link was then on his raft again.
After his return a new land of Hyrule appeared and all of the acheivements in the old Hyrule were lost.
In this new land another boy named link was telepathecly called in his sleep by Princess Zelda. After rescueing her he started his quest which eventually led to the famed dark world.
In the Darkworld Link discovered the evil which Ganon had spread using the triforce. After many battles and rescue attemps for getting the seven maidens, Link finally came upon Ganon and killed him completely, and claimed the complete Triforce and used it for the good of Hyrule. Afterwards Link went back to Hyrule and became great friends with Zelda.
One day Zelda told her friend Link to come to The Four Sword Shrine and Vaati Escaped. Link Eventually killed Vaati, along with 3 clones.
A few years later they returned to the shrine with 6 maidens and found and evil clone of Link. Zelda and the maidens were captured so Link drew the Four Sword and he and the 3 clones rescued zelda, and the maidens. They also defeated Vaati and the evil clone. Link then put back the sword and all his clones dissapeared and to protect Hyrule he ran away.
After a while a new Link appeared and he was to save two lands called Holodrum and Lybrnna from ultimate destruction and to save the Oracles of Ages and Seasons.
The task being too great for Link led to the gods dividing the task in half so that he could do one first and then the other later. During these adventures Ganon was revived and defeated but not killed by Link. After saving the lands and the Oracles Link traveled away from those lands.
When all of Hyrule was under attack a new Link was found by Impa Zelda's caretaker, when she was fleeing from Ganon. This Link was instructed to gather the Triforce of Wisdom back together and defeat Ganon.
After a long quest he was successful and finally killed Ganon.
A few years later Ganon's minions devised a plan to capture Link and use him to revive Ganon.
Link was too quick for them though and was never captured. Link then gathered the many gems and put them in their appropriate alters and Zelda's spell of sleep was finally lifted, after using them to locate the final piece the Triforce of Courage, and Link was able to live a normal Life at last.
