The story goes as follows. After the victories in Hyrule Link becomes tired of all the frightened people and decided to go on an ocean voyage for enlightenment.
After a long voyage Link feels ready to go home but sinks in a storm and blacks out.
When Link awakes on a strange unmaped island Link discovers his sword missing and goes to the beach to reclaim it for himself.
After finding 8 instruments Link Awakens the Wind Fish and the mysterious island dissapeared before his very eyes, and Link ends up back on his raft once again.
