Alrite. Ive thought of something that I could write, thanks to a situation that occured about 30minutes ago. The main man from our old friends Obsidian told me to fuck off because I didn't like metal and he also asked me why I was talking to people who liked metal when I didn't. This situation amused me a great deal becuase he strikes me as the kind of person who would complain about "trendies" when in reality, he is living with trendy ideals by judging someone by the kind of music they listen too. As it says on our index page- its not about what music you listen too or what clothes you wear, its about whether you're sound or whether you're not. I dress in a sort of individual way, because I mostly wear clothes that "trendies", for want of a better word, wear, and at the same time, I wear my punky or "freak", again for want of a better word, clothes. I also listen to all kinds of music. Infact, and this is 100% true, the last 5 things that I have listened to are Madness, The Ataris, Les Rhythmes Digitales, Haydn and Bedrock. All of these things have one thing in common- they are happy! When the Obsidian fella was having a go at me, I asked one of his friends to name me a happy metal band and he couldn't- he admitted that metal is depressed and angry music- which was my point. I like happy music and you can't get much happier than punk! Thanks for reading this and if anyone can name me a happy metal band- I will try and have a listen to them. I'm not saying that everything that I've said is right, its my oppinion and I'd be happy to hear other peoples oppinions and comments. Oh yeah, if anyone from Obsidian does read this, I must stress that I have nothing at all against any of you- in fact, I would say that Jack, Dave, Jim and Mark are all "sound" and for all I know, Dani is aswell but seen as he told me to fuck off, I havn't decided as yet! I hope Gerbil Bob and Obsidian will one day share the headline spot at a gig and other people can see whether they like a bit of punk or a nice bit of good metal.(Ive said "good metal" coz I reckon that as far as metal goes Obsidian will probably be quite good coz Jim is a good drummer and I've heard that Jack is a pretty class guitarist and that Dani is an excellent frontman.)C ya H:+)

Evenin. Ste decided it
would be good if we all wrote a bit of something each month and put it
on the site. When he suggested this, I thought it woz a good idea but I
am now beginning to regret it because I am too busy what with college,
Lucksta and some other stuff,to actaully think of anything constructive
that is worth writing! Despite this, I am going to attempt to write something.Hmm.Erm.Right.
Bollocks, I can't think what to say. Oh yea, I could comment on the fact
that we are hoping to get Chris Moody to write a bit for this section of
the site and also for him to review our first gig!. The reason for this
is that our old mates Obsidian have got him to write on their site and
it is without doubt the best bit on the AMAZING (*cough*) Obsidian site
so we hope to get him to "defect", for want of a better word, to our site! ~Moody will now be writing for both sites~
He has a way with words which is a pleasure to read- which is strange becuase
he is an upper class, snobbish, right wing, annoying little arsehole but
he is beginning to prove me wrong! I'd just like to point out that I have
absolutely nothing against Obsidian or any of the members of Obsidian but
at this moment in time I really do not like "metal" and they are a metal
band, so its all just a bit skeshed really. If you wonder why I don't like
metal, it's because it is far too depressing and slow! I like happy music
and you can't get much happier than a bit of punk!
You may have read what Stephen decided to write for this section of our
site, I thought what he wrote was shite, but now I've tried to write something,
I no longer think that! Anyroad, I'l think of something to write and put
it on soon, until then, I have been me, you have been you, the one, the
only, the man, the legend, H :+)
