JAKE: What do you think of Gryphon doing that whole copyright infringement thing against the LOS?

VIOLET: I think it's bologna. Gryph, if you hear me, give it up!!! If you remember, Speed was the one who was in charge when the LOS-G won the rights to the name. I'm not Speed, and I am rescinding that ruling. I like you Gryphon, but I AM the Commish. Besides, it beats Most Holy coming up with another name since he's gotten crazier and crazier by the month.

(All of a sudden, the lights in the arena go black, and the jumboscreen fires up. On the screen, we see none other than Gryphon and Alex Star. It's kind of hard to recognize them, because they are wearing old carpenter jeans, flannel shirts, and ball caps pulled down over their faces. In fact, they look a lot like the crew that puts up the ring and builds Wargames cages ... All of the Corporate, Church, and L.O.S. temporarily put their fighting aside and stare at the screen. Gryphon begins to speak, while Star just smirks.)

GRYPHON: Well, what do we have here, Alex? All of our favorite people fighting it out in a Wargames match. We hate to interrupt, but the ACC has an absolute BOMBSHELL to drop on all of you. You see Paris, you may have "tricked" me into an I Quit match in the main event; but we baited you, hook line and sinker: the Corporation, the Church, EVERYBODY right here. *in his best announcers voice* Alex, tell them what they've won.

ALEX STAR: (Star holds up a very small piece of what looks like silver silly putty, except for the fact that it has an electric timed sensor attached to it.) Right you are Johnny, I mean, Gryphon. Yes, Mark Paris, Black Knight, Joshua Gardner ... all of you. You have all earned a one way, all expense paid ticket to BLAMMOVILLE!! You see, when good old President Speed Racer "swerved" everybody by signing a Corporation vs. Dark Church and and L.O.S match, he didn't read the fine print. Because this match was actually booked to be an EXPLODING RING WARGAMES MATCH!!

*the crowd explodes into cheers*

(The valets, managers, and bodyguards, announcers and everyone else ringside look a bit worried, but the wrestlers in the ring are not phased; as they think Star is bluffing.)

GRYPHON: Do you see this, gentlemen? (Gryphon points to the silver "silly putty" with a sensor in it that Star is holding.) These are called P-L-A-S-T-I-C E-X-P-L-O-S-I-V-E-S. Paris, I'm sure that any self respecting street thug like you would already know that. It seems that somebody has put tons of these little things all over the top and sides of the Wargames enclosed cage. Here ... *The lights come back on* see for yourselves. I know that they may be hard to see, because the silver plastic is the exact same color as the cage.

(All of the wrestlers look up to see that there are indeed about 50 of those little bundles of joy stuck to various portions of the cage. The camera fades in to look at some of the wrestlers, there faces are rapidly becoming pale and white.)

ALEX STAR: And rest assured, there are also about 50 more of those little explosives on the underside of the ring mat. I would tell you to check, but you all ARE trapped in the cage after all. Don't worry though. Alone each of those explosives are very weak, nothing more than an expensive firework. And when all 100 of them explode together, well it PROBABLY won't be fatal ... Hey, the Japanese do this type of stuff all of the time, right? Hey Gryph, when is this fireworks display supposed to kick off anyway?

GRYPHON: *checks his watch* Funny you should ask that, SOMEBODY set them to go off at the 25 minute mark.

VIOLET: Oh my God, that's only ONE minute from now!!

GRYPHON: Well, we've gotta go, but have fun. And Paris, I'll see YOU in the Main Event.

ALEX STAR: *waving* bye bye.

(With that, the jumbotron goes black, and a countdown appears on the screen.

Complete and utter chaos is reigning in the ringside area. Announcers, valets, bodyguards, ringside fans, are all scrambling to get the hell out of dodge.

Jenna Jamison and Zoe Burgess bump chest first into each other trying to escape, and each female flies back about 4 feet.

The Godfather absoultely hurdles the guardrail and knocks over a few fans running away. Even Obsidian is slowly walking away from the area that will soon become ground zero.

Inside of the ring, a few of the wrestlers are frantically trying to escape, but to no avail. Most of them have accepted their fate, and realize that Gryphon and Star would not be stupid enough to admit brag about doing this if the explosives were actually fatal. So the fighting continues as the clock continues to countdown.)

(The clock on the jumboscreen is in single digits now. Except for the wrestlers in the ring, the ringside area is completely clear. The crowd counts down 7--6--5--4--3--2--1--0!!! With that, we hear an earth-shattering

BBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!

A bright orange-red flash lights up the arena for a fraction of a second, then pre planted smoke bombs fire off, engulfing the entire ringside area in a gray/black shroud. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... one minute passes ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... two minutes pass ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... the smoke finally begins to clear. The crowd begins to chant A-G-W, A-G-W!!

As the ring area comes back into view, there is complete and total carnage. The ring and the cage are no longer intact. Parts of the cage, pieces of the ring, parts of the ropes, have all flown as far as the third row of the crowd; which is completely vacated. Only the steel ringposts remain totally intact.

The camera focuses in to show us what are left of the competitors. All of them look to be bruised badly and unconscious and concussed by the incredible force and decibel of the initial explosion; but no significant bloodshed can be seen.

We see Most Holy laying face down under the announcer's table, Black Knight and Joshua Gardner stacked up on top of each other, neither one moving, Brad Steel laid out in row one. The camera pans left, then right to show us every single wrestler involved in the match laying unconscious ... with one exception. We see one wrestler moving underneath referee Mr. Bitter's very limp body. The wrestler is shaken up, but he is moving around. Upon closer inspection, it is Mark Paris!!!! Apparently, this man pulled the referee on top of him and shielded himself from the brunt of the explosion.

Paris crawls over to the unconscious Erik Moon who is laid out near the ring apron, or what_s left of it. At the same time, referee Carl Westcoat runs out from the back to end this tragedy of a match.

(At the same moment, Jake Reid makes his way to the scraps that used to be the announcer's table)

JAKE: My god, what carnage!!!! I think myself and Mark Paris are the only 2 conscious people out here. A huge chunk of cage fell right on Violet and she is bleeding pretty badly.

(Jake watches as dozens of paramedics come out to help people.)

JAKE: Only reason I am up is because I took advantage of my natural human instincts and dove under the table. Duck and cover, they told me.

(All the wrestlers involved in the match are getting medical attention on the spot..)

JAKE: Man, the blood is actually a bit more prominent than those ACC guys thought. Black Knight has a huge gash on his left arm. Gardner and Harmonium Ziporath aren't even moving. Black Mage is nowhere to be found. Most Holy got blown about halfway up the aisle way. Goldberg and Hybrid are both right next to me unconscious. Man, oh man.

(Speed Racer comes out and goes over to Mark Paris. Paris says a couple things that can't be made out and Speed shakes his head. Speed then goes over to where Violet is out at and checks how she is doing. He goes to the announcing table.)

SPEED: All right, I have HAD it with this crap. Every member of the ACC is going to be fined 100 grand for this. This was totally uncalled for.

JAKE: How is Violet doing?

SPEED: I hope she's OK.

JAKE: What are we going to do for the next 3 matches? They are all title matches involving guys that were blown up in this match. SPEED: We have to keep the show rolling. The whole ACC plan was to injure these guys to use shock value to win their way to a push but now I just have a feeling that they severely injured the AGW's best wrestlers. That is the only way they can do anything. *Shakes his head* I tell ya, if the ACC do end up winning matches, they WILL PAY!!!
