Earth - The main planet on the show. You are living on Earth right now. Goku was sent to Earth to destroy the planet so that it could be sold. The whole Dragonball series uses the Earth as the planet.
Arila - The planet that Vegeta and Nappa land on on their journey to Earth. Vegeta and Nappa are captured and are forced to fight in an arena. They reunite 2 of the creatures on Arila that were separated. In the end Vegeta blows up the whole planet after killing the leader.
Namek - The home planet of Piccolo and Kami. Guru, the father of all the Nameks lived through a destruction of all Namek's plants and trees and stuff like that. He later had children, like 100, and grew a new population and planet. Guru also made the Dragon, Purunga, the Namek Dragonball's Dragon. On this planet, the sky is green and they have 3 suns, so it is never night.
Vegeta - Planet Vegeta was named after the King Vegeta. Vegeta is the home planet to all Saiyans. This is where Goku was born. Frieza blows up the planet because he thinks the Saiyans were getting to strong and might overtake him.
Plant - This planet was originally owned by the Tsufuru. Later the Saiyans come and take over, they then renamed it Planet Vegeta.
Namek 2 - I'm not sure if the name is right. The original Namek was destroyed by Frieza's Deathball. Later, when the Nameks were on Earth they wished for a new planet. This is where the Nameks live after the destruction of their original planet.
Mayko Star - Where Garlic Jr. was born. When ever the Mayko Star is near Garlic Jr. or anyone born on the Mayko Star, they become much more powerful. The Mayko Star is used in the 1st Dragonball Movie, The Dead Zone.
Yardat - After Goku left Namek before Namek blew up, Goku left in a Saiyan Spacepod. He just typed in any coordinates because he didn't have time to think. This is the planet he ended up on. Here he got his funky weird outfit, he only wears it once when he lands on Earth. He also learned a new move, Instant Transmition.
