GENERAL -- HORSE -- WOLF

GENERAL

> in general, the rules are no different from any other RPG you've been to. out-of-character differences are just that - out of character. with that in mind, if you're the type that requires every spat to be a long, drawn-out verbal assault procedure, i'd rather you take it off of the site and into IMs, e-mails, or what-have-you. that's simple enough, isn't it?

> the overall rating we're aiming for here is pg-13. the motion picture association of america's definition for a pg-13 film can be found here. now, this does not mean you're expected to completely adhere to this definition. it's just something to work with. :: cough ::

> roleplaying here is of a semi-realistic nature. your character can talk, and contemplate, and cry, and have complex emotions, et cetera. however, they cannot...say, have purple wings and summon fire from the sky, or magically transform into a dog or a flea or a person. need i say more? i think not. there will be no exceptions to this rule.

> cursing is permitted, in a tasteful fashion. i really don't care if your character is tired of all the bullshit, or even tired of the fucking bullshit. however, if your fucking character really doesn't fucking need to put up with anymore fucking bullshit, motherfucker shiteating asshole bitch fuckfuckfuckfuck cocktease - then you'd be reprimanded, or something similar. i don't think anyone requires that much vulgarity - do you?

> just because a character does not like your character does not mean that character's owner does not like you. learn to differentiate between ooc (out-of-character) and ic (in-character)!

> fighting is not permitted on the main boards, but once it's on your own board, then the kind and noble stallions can turn into lusty wifebeating foalkillers if they want, eheh.

> long breeding. your characters can flirt their little hearts outs, but if horsesex/wolfsex in detail is your cup of tea, and you want your characters to get busy/nasty/some action, i fully ask that the deed is done off of the main boards, and preferably on your own herdboard. after that, it's solely your business, and i can't prevent it if some sort of intrusion is committed.

HORSE

> mares are essentially the lifeblood of any harem, obviously because they are capable of having foals and passing on a stallion's bloodlines. rules for mares are pretty similar to any other rpg you've been to. fillies are considered mares at age three and are thus claimable and screwable (but not otherwise!), breeding may occur once per season in between the ages of of three and twenty, blah blah blah, did i miss anything? cool.

> stallions have pretty much the same duties they have in any other situation, and are an integral part of the herd. colts become stallions at age three and may then claim, breed with, and steal mares, claim territories, and challenge other stallions. breeding is not encouraged after the age of twenty-five (but since when does an rpg horse live to be twenty-five?). it goes without saying that people that choose to play stallions should be pretty active, to be fair for the other players.

> foals cannot breed, cannot challenge for anything (except for 'mock fights' amongst themselves) and if unprotected, can make a tasty prey item for any predators, as well as a convenient target for any aggressive stallions.
