The Missouri River Bats offense put up 5 runs on the scoreboard in the 7th

inning and cruised to a 7 to 1 victory over the St. Louis Perfectos at Busch

Stadium.

 

Steve Carlton(2-1) gave Missouri a solid outing.  He went 7 innings

surrendering 6 hits and 3 walks.  Missouri finished with 11 hits while St.

Louis ended up with 8. 

 

Dick Hughes(1-2) ended up with the loss.  He pitched 6 innings allowing 6 hits

and 1 walk.
