Freddie loved to party because he loved to make others happy. Freddies 40th birthday party was held in Munich - He told all the male guests to come in drag and he came as a Bavarian officer - his jacket glittering with medals and his trousers covered in huge diamond shapes. He had the party videoed as he wanted to use it in his next solo video ‘Living On My Own'.
The video was scrapped as many of the people at the party feared their antics at the party would cause trouble or offence. On Freddies 41st birthday he celebrated on the island of Ibiza, off the coast of Spain. For his party he flew his friends and family there in a DC-9 Jet.There was 500 guests at his party and a huge firework display blazed Freddies name over the Mediterranean sky,and he was treated to a 20-foot birthday cake. Freddie was a certified shopaholic.
