| My proof for why this pairing has to exist! It has to be possible, I swear. Keep in mind that I scrutinize everything, and that nothing is too obscure for me. If there's a two-second phrase that is never brought up again, I use it. I'm an extremely defensive person, not to mention argumentative...anyway...and by the way, I go by the English dub because it's the one most people are familiar with over here. And, yeah... 1. Butch and Cassidy's bail Let me get this straight. Two of Giovanni's higher-ranking ((I think...)) TR members are imprisoned, so he goes and bails 'em out personally. Does that not scream "suicide" to you? I mean, if you were the overlord of a huge crime organisation, would you want to walk into a police station and attempt to bail two of your members out? Didn't think so. If you're arrested it would lead to the downfall of the entire crime ring. Not to mention much misery for you. Yet Giovanni goes and bails them out anyway. In person. He's apparently not afraid of being arrested, or if he is, he doesn't care and that's STRANGE. Unless he somewhat wants it, so he can be closer to... Not to mention, Officer Jenny didn't arrest him on the spot. He therefore must have someone on the inside. 2. Just ignore the rather large imports... I don't know if this is just me thinking this way, but the officer in Viridian at least must have picked up on this. If somebody is getting Pokemon imported the way that Giovanni is, don't you think there might be a bit of suspicion? Just a bit? It's abnormal to be recieving that much cargo at once without owning a large corperation. Yet he's getting away with it. Choosing to "miss" certain things, Jenny? 3. The 'gym leader' matter The police in the series seem reasonably aware of the gym leaders in their respective cities. Not to mention, it's kind of HARD to miss Giovanni's gym. It must have taken massive legal crap to get that gym. It just must have. Jenny also probably knows that Giovanni is in charge of the gym. She doesn't arrest him because...?
